These stand-alone books provide banks of questions which have been written to complement any GCSE resources. The questions focus on assessment objectives AO2 and AO3, ie. Selecting appropriate methods, solving functional problems and explaining methods fully.
There are 28 sets of questions which can be used throughout the GCSE course or as more of a revisional aid. They may be tackled initially by groups of students to explore and discuss strategies or worked at individually. A ‘*’ has been placed by each question number as found in GCSE examination papers because every type of question in this book encourages quality of written communication (QWC).
The majority of the sets of questions involve a mixture of topics which is essential if the students are to recall and select appropriate techniques. Some exercises are specific to Number, Algebra, Geometry or Statistics only.
