Essential Maths Book 9f (2002)

Essential Mathematics Book 9f has been written for pupils in Year 9 who are working towards or have attained National Curriculum Level 3-5 Tier.  There is a comprehensive NNS guide at the start of the book with references to all topics.

There is a Review Section for the end of the Autumn Term.  There is also a wealth of revision material in part 5 of the book to prepare Year 9 Students for their tests.  The 20 individual revision units could be tackled as a complete block or spread out throughout the year, possibly forming revision homeworks.  Alternatively, the teacher may choose to use them as the basis for ‘Booster’ lessons.

The purpose of this book is to provide the main material for pupils to work at in a systematic way which helps to build up their confidence.
